With the theme, “More for you here at home,”
Quincy 2000 works to help business districts prosper in Quincy’s
thriving neighborhoods. By forging partnerships in areas where
there are no business associations and working with established
associations in others, Quincy 2000 spearheads efforts to improve
the district’s vitality and attract customers.
Although each district is distinct with its own style and flavor,
all benefit from the catalyst provided by Quincy 2000. By bringing
neighboring businesses together, the Quincy 2000 Business District
Partnerships support and promote the commercial area where they
are located.
With one strong voice, they effectively advocate for streetscape
and infrastructure improvements, serve as a sounding board for
new developments, cooperatively advertise and market their district
and work together to create a more attractive shopping area.
Coupled with the business assistance and financing programs available
through Quincy 2000, local businesses now have the tools to improve
their individual businesses and collectively make their district
a great place to shop.
