The Business Partnership Capital Fund is designed to support the needs of the Business District, and is allocated at the discretion of the district partnership members. The funds can be used for streetscape and infrastructure improvements within the business district; business district marketing/advertising programs; planning initiatives to improve the business district, and/or any other activities and/or projects designed to promote localized business and economic development.

Partnership Membership
The role of the BUSINESS DISTRICT PARTNERSHIPS is to enhance the economic viability and vitality of neighborhood businesses, and the overall business area. The Partnerships are standing committees of Quincy 2000 Collaborative, a public/private economic development organization within the City of Quincy.

How will my business benefit from being a member of a Business District Partnership?
Participate in Cooperative Marketing Initiatives to promote your business and the overall business area. Marketing initiatives include a brochure promoting member businesses and the overall business district; participation in a welcome package for new residents moving to your district; group advertising programs in local media; and listings on the Quincy 2000 Collaborative website and associated publications.

Connect with fellow Quincy businesses to expand your customer base through the exchange of commerce, contacts and information. Help make choosing a Quincy business the first choice when purchasing a good or service.

Participate in the enhancement of your business district by working with City officials and private entities to improve the areas’ infrastructure, signage and streetscapes. Provide a voice to help shape new developments and fill empty commercial space for the betterment of the overall business area.

Fifty dollars from each Quincy 2000 Full and Associate membership is deposited into a Business Partnership Capital Fund. The Capital Fund is used at the discretion of the membership to financially support the goals and objectives of the Business Partnership.

 How can I become a Member of A BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP?
You may elect to be an Associate member of Quincy 2000 Collaborative for $100 a year, or a Full member which begins at $250 a year (Full membership investment is determined by the business size). Each form of membership provides you full membership in The Business Partnership area where your business is located.
