State Street South Office Complex
This 60-acre urban office park was the first
of its type to be built in the City. In the early 1970’s,
the State Street South Complex was designed to centralize the
company’s operations areas, providing consolidated processing
for its customers worldwide. Recently, a landscape master plan
transformed the site with improved safety, aesthetics and circulation
reflecting the international status of its prime tenant and
major employer in Quincy, State
Street Bank & Trust Company. Another major employer
in the city, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, purchased
a building in the complex in 2003 as part of its long-term real
estate plan to house many of its businesses units in the Quincy
area. The complex’s proximity to the MBTA Red Line North
Quincy station, easy access to I-93 and Boston, and ample parking
make it a great place to locate.
